The Grudge Trailer

From now on i will be researching all different types of horror genre based films. The first trailer i decided to research was 'The Grudge' because it is a succesfull film and applies the basic conventions of an horror trailer. This trailer shows veiwers the main plot of the film without giving away hidden secrets and side plots. The trailer uses the fast cuts and the editing to create suspense and tension which increases the amount of horror and prepares you for the climax. This film is the American version of the classic japanese horror.
