We like how the shaky camera movements compliment the style of the music, as it is fast pace and entertaining. You have used effects such as black and white and sped up some shots to fit the 'punk rock' theme. Also you have used a variety of camera angles such as close up shots of the clowns face to intimidate the audience.
This is a good music video. i like how you have used the camera as an audience point of view. e.g at 0:59 when the POV camera passes the clown on the bench, the camera stays on him as you pass drawing attention to him, but as he gets up and starts to chase the camera, there are shaky movements from a handheld cam, this makes the audience feel panicked because we cant focus on a single point, matching the style of music.
I like how you have done your ancillary tasks, you have used letter cut outs font to match stereotypical conventions of a 'stalker' i also like how you have used the same fonts through all of your tasks to keep a similar house style.
The opening sequence is good in the way you have used the effects on the text is different. I really like the pace of this music video and how you have linked the editing to fit in time with each section of the music video. The use of different angles is really good. I really like this music video and like how you have thought about the time of day you have recorded as well. I enjoyed watching this video!
Good stuff - the opening is especially effective. The footsteps build up anticipation and the use of close up and lighting make the introduction of the clown character really dramatic. There is then a sense of a narrative as we follow the character around. The speeded-up sections are great and fit with the music. The whole piece has a lo-fi aesthetic really in keeping with the genre conventions.
