Dead Kennedys - Holiday in Cambodia

The Dead Kennedys are one of the worlds biggest rock bands, they formed in San Francisco in 1978. They went on to gain a large underground fanbase in the punk music scene. There lyrics were different from other rock/punk bands at the time as they mixed extreme lyrics with sarcasm and humour. They released five albums before ending the band in 1986 to then reform in 2001 with a new lead singer. Just like all rock bands the Dead Kennedys were the typical out of control group. They offer the same conventions as other rock/punk bands with their wild approach to music and their crazy antics such as crowd surfing and breaking of instuments. All of these things generate a good atmosphere for the punk/rock genre. Although in my music video i may not be able to crowd surf and smash things up it still gives me a good idea for what stlye i want to use for the making of my music video, it shows my ways in which i can film my music video and understand the way in which this genre performs.
