Green day are a well-known punk/rock band formed in 1987, they were part of the punk scene in California. This is a magazine advert for the band and it conveys a similar style to excisting bands in the same genre. It has the name of the band in clear, simple font along side the name of the album. Although it is plain it is quite eye-catching and it advertises the band well. This poster gives me good ideas on what i can do for my poster because it has the same aspects that the rock/punk genre should have.
